The story of the tortoise and the hare

We have all heard about the race between the tortoise and the hare.And as the story unfolds we come to realsie that it is the tortoise that wins and not the hare. Well the same principal applies to people who want to lose weight. We get people who jump into the hare camp and people who jump into the tortoise camp. The people who jump into the hare camp are the ones who when they hear the words "weight loss and now" get their engines all reved up and ready to go, and like the hare, sure enough they work, run and put in alot of effort and get to the half way mark. And then like the hare they think that oh we have come so far ahead that now its time to take a break and when we wake up we will sprint to the finish line and be crowned champions. Well we all know what happens to the hare when it decieds to take a nap. The tortoise slowly but surely in its own steady pace catches up to the hare, looks at the hare smiles and walks on, and when the hare wakes up what does he notice he see's the tortoise at the finish line. Well the moral of the story is . The best results come to those who go at a steady pace. This is how you will achieve weight loss that will last. Like the hare those who go quick bursts of speed (on crash diets) will get results but they burn out alot quicker and then they are back to square.
